As the Information Processing Department of our University, we have been audited by TÜRKAK Accredited Lead Auditors within the scope of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Standard, which is an internationally recognized standard adopted to manage and protect the sensitive information of institutions, and we have earned the certification.

During the audits conducted on May 4, 2024, it was determined that policies, procedures, guidelines, lists, forms, and templates were created to cover all business processes in order to comply with the standard. It was confirmed that the Information Security Management System team conducted risk analyses, defined corrective and improvement actions where deficiencies were identified, and ensured that all operations and activities of our department are carried out in accordance with information security requirements, with proper documentation and reporting, and monitored/evaluated the processes from an information security perspective. The measures and efforts taken under the ISO 27001 Standard, which aims for continuous improvement, will continue to be applied and developed with diligence.
